COVID 19 UPDATE | We are shipping from the UK but there may be disruption to postal services worldwide. Please be patient as you may still experience postal delays, which are beyond our control.

DELIVERY OF PHYSICAL GOODS |

We aim to process your order within 2 working days.

We will email you to let you know it has been despatched.

UK: Royal Mail Signed For. *For some goods it will be necessary to use the Royal Mail standard service (unsigned).

Europe & Rest of World: International Tracked and Signed.

If you pay with a PayPal account: your order will be sent to the same delivery address linked to your PayPal account.

DELIVERY TIMES VARY AROUND THE WORLD | If no shipping option is shown please get in touch so we can arrange the best courier for your needs

UK – 1-3 business days

EUROPE – 5-10 business days

REST OF WORLD – 9-12 business days

Please allow sufficient time for your item to arrive as these are approximate times and could take longer to some destinations, especially during busy periods. We cannot guarantee a delivery date and are not responsible for delays due to items held up by Customs. If a pattern is needed for a specific date, we recommend purchasing our digital patterns.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before submitting your order. We cannot be held responsible for returned or undelivered orders due to address errors. We can resend orders but there will be an additional delivery charge.

TAXES AND IMPORT DUTIES | EU and International customers outside of the UK are responsible for payment of any local customs fees, quotas, import duties, handling fees or local taxes that may apply in the receiving country. Please contact your local Customs Office for further information before placing an order. Maven Patterns cannot be held responsible for delays due to customs.

DELIVERY OF DIGITAL GOODS |

Once you have completed the checkout your order will be displayed on the screen with links to download your file. Please make sure your email address is correct as you will also be sent a confirmation email with the link (if you can’t see it in your inbox check your spam/junk folder). You will also be able to access your patterns in the downloads area of your account. You are able to download your pattern up to 5 times and links expire after 1 year. Be sure to save your pattern safely on your computer where you can find it easily and if you can’t find it check the ‘downloads’ on your computer. Still no luck? Email us with your order number, name and email address and we’ll be able to help. PDF patterns cannot be printed from mobile devices. You will need to download to, open and print the pattern on a desktop or laptop computer. You can view the maker instructions on a mobile device instead of printing them.Our PDF FAQ guide can be found here.

E-gift card T & C’s |

  • e-gift cards can only be used to purchase physical products from www.mavenpatterns.co.uk
  • e-gift cards cannot be used to purchase digital patterns from our Etsy store
  • e-gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled
  • e-gift cards must be used within the expiry date (12 months from purchase),  after that time the balance will be forfeited.
  • e-gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • discount codes cannot be used to purchase e-gift cards.

REFUNDS |

DIGITAL PATTERNS: refunds will not be given for digital products once they have been downloaded.

E-GIFT CARDS | e-gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled

PRINTED PATTERNS: We hope you are delighted with your pattern. Should you wish to return a physical product please contact us within 7 days of receipt by emailing us at hello@mavenpatterns.co.uk. Or you may use this cancellation form.

FABRICS & HABERDASHERY: Please note that we do not give refunds or accept returns for cut lengths of fabric, trims or haberdashery unless they are faulty or damaged. Contact us if you’d like a swatch of fabric, we are happy to help!

Product suitability is the responsibility of the the customer. Please note that we recommend that you always sample a product and test the suitability for any product for your needs. This is especially important when purchasing bulk quantities for production purposes.

Please do not return goods without contacting us first.

Goods must be in their original condition – undamaged, unopened and unused. Cut patterns cannot be returned for any reason. Refunds on physical products will be issued to the original method of payment once we have received the item. We do not refund the original postage costs for returned goods unless a fault or error on our part. You are responsible for postage & other return costs, the goods are also your responsibility until they have been received by us. We recommend using a recorded delivery/tracked postal service. Postal charges will only be reimbursed to you by us in the case of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. Should a refund be agreed for any reason, the item must be returned to seller within 14 days of receiving the item. You are also fully responsible for the payment of any international taxes levied for a return package, e.g customs duty and/or VAT. To avoid this charge, please clearly mark your parcel RETURNED MERCHANDISE.

Goods should be returned to us within 14 days of the cancellation. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, once we have received and checked the goods. We do not issue credit notes.
