Thanks for all your kind words about the new Kitty dress pattern!
It’s always a little scary putting a bit of yourself out into the world, but I’m so delighted to be part of the sewing community and the kindness and support I see offered freely by so many 🙂
Kitty Pattern Features!
I just wanted to pop by and explain a few of the features of The Kitty Pattern, I totally forgot to mention them on release!
This pattern is once again in PDF format with layers, so you can select just the size or sizes that you want to print. It’s less confusing with just the lines you need to work with, and easier to blend between sizes.
As I’m always trying to improve the overall experience of using my patterns, Kitty has a new feature…
I’ve marked all the seam allowances for each size ready for you! The cutting line for your size is in black, the stitch line is in grey. Simple! All the seam allowances are still written on, as previous patterns, but this new feature will help to make any adjustments or alterations a little easier.
The observant will have noticed I said features…this pattern is the first that time I’ve included an A0 file! While I don’t think this is going to be used very widely here in the UK, some of you guys in the US are going to be so happy! It’s just two A0 sheets and I’ve purposely kept the file separate from the main one containing the Maker Instructions and A4/US letter size pattern, so it’s easy to pop on a memory stick and take it to your local copy shop.
