SUITABLE FABRICS
Medium weight woven dress fabrics such as denims, chambray, linen, cotton twills, fine wools and brocades. While this pattern has been designed for a woven fabric it has been successfully made many times in a stable knit for a cosy dress but you may wish to consider omitting the pockets for a smoother looking side seam.
