Fabric & Haberdashery Requirements
- Fabric requirements have been calculated as a one way (one directional/with nap) lay.
- If suitable for your fabric, you may save fabric if you decide to rotate some of your pattern pieces and interlock them.
- Additional fabric may be required for check, stripe or pattern matching.
SUITABLE FABRICS
Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as crepe de chine, bamboo silk, viscose, rayon, chambray, linen, double gauze, cotton lawn, poplin, Broderie Anglaise and lighter weight denims. A drapier fabric will enhance the back gathering detail on version B.
HABERDASHERY
- Matching thread
- Iron on fusible interfacing 50cm x 90cm wide (20” x 36”) or ready-made fusible stay tape.
- If using ready-made fusible stay tape, you will just need a piece of interfacing 10cm wide x 20cm (4″ x 8″) for the pocket mouth opening.
